They say that Philosophy is the study of making problems not solving them, so lets say that i have a small problem deciding between 2 different colors of socks, Philosophy is the study of making problems, so logic would dictate that while i´m deciding between the 2 colors of socks i´m "making Philosophy "? so to speak. One would think so. Because, i´m evaluating the 2 thinking one is wool and one is cotton, and making more problems, i think of their application and what i would use each sock for and the cost. But Philosophy dosent solve my problems, it just makes more so it´s up to science to solve problems, how would science solve this one? having a doctor tell me i´m allergic to wool.
So everyone dose Philosophy, basic. Philosophy dossen´t solve problems it creates them and lets others solve them (shitty thing to do but alright). science solves problems. And Philosophy comes from the Greek φιλοσοφία [philosophia], which literally translates to "love of wisdom". We all think we, all have thought, and becouse of that we are human, each and every one of us, in all shapes and sizes, countrys and nacions, we all think therfore we make Philosophy
I like the way you use one example to explain a lot of philosophy, it´s a very good idea of explaining, it make very easy to understand what we learned last philosophy class. In the second paragraph are too much ideas and none of them is complete ¡, thas is my only suggestion about yourtext.
ResponderEliminarPD: change you letter color, its to hard to understand if its too dark.
hahahaha decide the color of the socks you'll wear..
ResponderEliminaryou should check translating "sophia" to english. actually it means "thought", not "wisdom", they are 2 reeeeeally different things... also, deciding doesnt mean philosophing, it only means thinking... philosophing means LOVE to think, so to speak..
philosophy also is the study of problems, not to make problems.. i think Jose messed up there.. in philosophy you study the problem, and accidentaly you come up with a tool to fix that problem. how we use that tool is dedicated to the other sciences.. but problems like behavior dont need other sciences except philosophy to study it and to know how to act according to your believes...
your last sentence gets to a conclusion, but not to related to everything you said before, which its an excellent conclusion (for me, because it states the obvious with personality, making it different from regular conclusions)
PD: CHANGE YOUR ****ING BACKGROUND COLOR!! UR GOING TO KILL THE EYES OF EVERYONE IN THE CLASS!! AND MAKE JOSE DO ANOTHER EYE SURGERY!!
well, looking now to what wikipedia thinks about philosophy, its right that sophia means wisdom, but i saw on a class that wisdom its not the same as knowledge, and jose told us sophia is knowledge, so im now friggin confused...
ResponderEliminarJose, please clear up our minds!! Or Wikipedia will do!!
